Skill in assessing information for its trustworthiness has become indispensable. In this paper (under development) I outline a technique for gauging the believability of information, for hunting out the most probable truth. I call this technique the matrix approach to (a) assembling and sorting a review of the literature and (b) assessing the relative quality of the information in that set.
